The Prototype has been perfected.
Production will start late April of 2010
We all know by now that you are only going to get approximately 25-30 full power shots from one single 12 gm Co2 Powerlet™ with a Crosman® 1077 Repeat Air™.
Well my shooting habits require more than that and Crosman has discontinued selling the AirSource™ Upgrade kits… A new bulk Co2 option is on the horizon.
This set up will only work on current production Crosman 1077’s manufactured since 1999. The treads on the old version are different.
This is a pre-view of the prototype. It is not in production as of yet.
The 1077 used in prototyping is just a few years old and has a little surface rust. I will clean that up a little later...

For Co2 Use Only!
I strongly recommend that you do not try to run HPA pressures in the 1077.
The gun itself can not handle it.

With the help of Ron at Bryon & Associates and his 2250 Gas Tube Extension, Bulk Fill Cap and my small adapter and sleeve… now the prototype is getting about 275 full power shots. I am still waiting for a nice warm day to kick some serious tin out of some cans…
So far I have sent about 900 pellets down range since I started testing the proto. And so far, so good, No leaks!
One of the best features about this kit is… It just drops in place of the Co2 Powerlet. You do not have to modify the gun. Removal of the kit is not easy… but it can be done.
To fill is simple and only takes a few inexpensive items to make it happen.
Simply connect to the fill nipple and invert the Paint Ball tank, Turn the tank on, With in just a seconds, It's full. Turn off the tank and bleed off the excess Co2 trapped between the valve and QD. Disconnect and lock and load.
For testing purposes… I am just simply using a 1/8” NPT Quick Disconnect (QD) I picked up on eBay for $10 and a Remote Fill Valve or RFV. These two items allow you to fill the gun from a standard Paint Ball Tank.
Even Wal-mart has an exchange service in the sporting goods section to swap out your tank for a full one for around $5.00.
I am lucky to have Sierra Gun Supply to fill my tanks for about $4.00 just down the road from the shop.
I installed what the Paint Ballers call a "Side Check" in line with the fill station. This allows you to bleed off the air lines so that you can disconect with out being under pressure.
I recommend just getting a Remote Kit on eBay. It comes with all the things you need to fill the gun except the bleed off valve.
So here is the list of things you will need to buy separately once I go into production.

From B&A:
2250 Extension Tube
Bulk Fill Cap
From eBay or your local Paint Ball shop:
Co2 Remote kit with QD

Bleed Off or "Side Check Valve".
I found one on ebay for about $10

Hardware store:
1/8" NPT Street tee if you want to install an optional Gauge.
Don't forget some TFE tape for the threads.
This is the kit I put together and it works great!

Since I have more than one Bulk Fill AG... I also made up a QD hose (4500psi Rating) for shooting with a remote tank set up
and bought a couple of 20 oz bottles.
You will want to stock up on some extra magazines,
rotary clips and a speed loader.
Airguns of Arizona has the best deal.
